BELVA LOCKWOOD CULP

MISS BELVA LOCKWOOD CULP DIED AT HER HOME IN TINGLEY AT 10:20 O’CLOCK A.M. YESTERDAY AFTER AN ILLNESS OF THREE WEEKS.  HER DEATH WAS DUE TO A COMPLICATION OF TYPHOID-MALARIA, WITH WHICH THE FAMILY HAD BEEN SUFFERING, HER SISTER MISS JENNIE, BEING A CONVALESCENT AFTER A TEN WEEKS ILLNESS.  SERIOUS COMPLICATIONS SET IN WHEN MISS BELLE BECAME SICK, AND DURING THE LAST WEEK OF HER ILLNESS SHE WAS UNCONSCIOUS. SHE WAS 16 YEARS, ONE MONTH AND TWENTY-SEVEN DAYS OLD.  HER BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL DISPOSITION WON FOR HER A LARGE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, BY WHOM SHE LEAVES A FATHER AND MOTHER, FOUR SISTERS AND TWO BROTHERS.  THE FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED FROM THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH.
