Eleanor Norwood Boggs Burch

Eleanor Norwood Boggs was born February 28, 1869, near Berwick, IL, and there she was married January 1, 1892 to H. C . Burch.  In 1894 they moved to Oxford, MO., where they made their home for a number of years and where in 1897 she united with the Church of Christ. They moved to Ringgold County in 1910 and have since resided here.  After a severe and lingering illness she passed away November 10, 1924, survived by her husband, her daughter, Mrs. Izetta Winters, of Des Moines, by a former marriage and her four sons, Roy Delbert, Guy and Howard, who all live in the county.  Funeral services were held from the Church of Christ Wednesday, November 12, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Ross Williams, and the body laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery.
