Christopher C. Rogers (July 8, 1852-May 17, 1929)

Christopher C. Rogers was born at Monmouth, IL., July 8, 1852. About a year ago he came to Arapahoe, CO., to live with his nephew and niece, Christopher and Minerva Rogers, at whose home he departed this life May 17, 1929, aged 76 years, 10 months and nine days. One brother, Dudly Rogers, ten years his senior of Mutual, OK., father Christopher Rogers, of Arapahoe, survives him. The deceased was never married. Services were conducted at the chapel at Arapahoe Sunday morning at ten o’clock and the body was taken to Goodland, KS., where it was laid to rest in Goodland Cemetery.
