JOHNATHAN M. STUCK (JULY 30, 1891-JULY 14, 1929)

JOHNATHAN M. STUCK WAS BORN NEAR MOUNT AYR, IOWA, JULY 30, 1891 AND PASSED AWAY AT EDWARD HINES, JRS. HOSPITAL, MAYWOOD, IL, JULY 14, 1929 AGED 37 YEARS, 11 MONTH AND 14 DAYS.

HIS EARLY LIFE WAS SPENT IN IOWA, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW YEARS WHEN HE RESIDED IN IDAHO. HE CAME TO ILLINOIS IN  1922 AND ON DECEMBER 24, 1924 WAS MARRIED TO WYLLIE FLORENCE WOOTEN, WHO SURVIVES HIM. HE ALSO LEAVES HIS FATHER AND MOTHER, JOHN I. AND EMMA BROWN STUCK, TWO BROTHERS, EARNEST AND GEORGE, ALL OF MOLALLA, OR., ANOTHER BROTHER AARON OF DES MOINES, IOWA, AND TWO SISTERS, MISS CLARA STUCK, SALINA, WA., AND MRS. JOHN HOLLOWAY, EAGLEVILLE, MO.

DURING THE  WORLD WAR MR. STUCK SERVED IN THE ARMY FIFTEEN MONTHS, WAS OVERSEAS AND WAS HONORABLY DISCHARGED AFTER THE ARMISTICE WAS SIGNED. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE LOCAL POST OF THE AMERICAN LEGION.

FUNERAL SERVICES CONDUCTED BY REV. FRED NICHOLS FROM THE LAST HOME, THURSDAY AT 2 P.M. UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE AMERICAN LEGION. INTERMENT IN PENNINGTON POINT CEMETERY.
