FUNERAL SERVICES FOR EVERETT V. DRAPER, BRIEF MENTION OF WHOSE DEATH AT HIS HOME IN LONG BEACH, CALIF., WAS MADE IN THE RECORD NEWS LAST WEEK, WERE HELD AT THE B.W. COON FUNERAL HOME IN LONG BEACH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, NOVEMBER 20. MANY OLD FRIENDS WERE IN ATTENDANCE AND THE FLORAL TRIBUTES WERE PROFUSE AND BEAUTIFUL. THE SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED BY REV. J.W. CALHOUN. INTERMENT WAS IN SUNNYSIDE MAUSOLEUM, LONG BEACH.

THE FOLLOWING OBITUARY IS COPIED FROM THE LONG BEACH SUN OF MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18:

EVERETT V. DRAPER, 58, OF 2333 CASPIAN AVENUE, DIED YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT HIS HOME. MR. DRAPER WAS A NATIVE OF IOWA, COMING HERE ONE AND ONE-HALF YEARS AGO FROM BRIDGEPORT, NEB. HE WAS A RETIRED LUMBER DEALER. AT BRIDGEPORT HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE MODERN WOODMEN AND THE MASONIC LODGES. HE ALSO BELONGED TO THE FIRST UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.

SURVIVING ARE THE WIDOW, MRS. LOTA I. DRAPER, FOUR BROTHERS, RALPH OF SAN FRANCISCO, ARTHUR OF UTAH, REV. G.L. OF MISSOURI, AND DALLAS OF SOUTH DAKOTA. ONE HALF BROTHER LUTHER BONHAM, ALSO LIVES IN SOUTH DAKOTA.
