ED M. LONG

W.H. LONG RECEIVED A MESSAGE MONDAY MORNING CONVEYING THE SAD NEWS THAT HIS BROTHER, ED M. LONG, OF LOS ANGELES, CA., HAD PASSED AWAY SATURDAY AFTERNOON AT 1:25. FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD TUESDAY IN LOS ANGELES. MRS. LONG DIED MARCH 15 IN THE ANGELUS MANOR HOSPITAL IN LOS ANGELES, DEATH BEING CAUSED FROM HEART ATTACKS. A DAUGHTER, VERA, LIVING IN THE HOME SURVIVES.

MR. LONG WAS BORN IN JEFFERSON COUNTY, IOWA, IN 1870. MOST OF HIS LIFE WAS SPENT IN RINGGOLD COUNTY WEHRE HE WAS ENGAGED IN FARMING. THE FAMILY MOVED TO CALIFORNIA ABOUT TWENTY YEARS AGO.

SISTERS AND BROTHERS SURVIVING ARE W. H. LONG, MOUNT AYR; MRS. LIZZIE E. LAYTON, MOUNT AYR; MRS. MATTIE E. HARDEN, ARLINGTON, VA.; G.F. LONG, RUNNELLS; W.S. LONG, DENVER, CO.; MRS PEARL BIRD, CRESTON; H. ARTHUR LONG, CHEYENNE, WY. AND J. VICTOR LONG.
