FRED ALBERT RYCHNOVSKY

Fred Albert Rychnovsky was born June 17, 1940 to Dola Dale (Saltzman) and Paul Fred Rychnovsky on a farm in rural Benton, IA. Fred attended school at Benton through the 10th grade. At that time the Benton school closed, and he attended Mount Ayr Community High School graduating in 1959.
From a very young age all Fred ever wanted to do was farm with his father. He would often rush home after school so that he could farm where he was happiest. Fred and his father were known for their collection of Case tractors which have been recognized throughout the Midwest. He was known for his hard work, gentle spirit, funny sense of humor, big smile and giggly laugh. He lovingly cared for his aging parents and honored them throughout his life. He was an amazing older brother to his three sisters who all shared, from childhood, the love of family, faith and God. He loved his nieces and nephews and looked forward to their long visits during summer breaks. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
Fred continued farming on the family farm until he passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.
