TYLER SHEA-SLEDGE

Tyler was born in Carroll, IA on March 2, 1990. Tyler passed away unexpectedly at a young age of 32 on May 30, 2022.
Tyler was a determined, hard-working, creative and extremely talented individual. He had a passion for carpentry, mechanics, weightlifting, fishing, skateboarding and eating sweets, with a love for pets.
Tyler always found a way to make those around him feel as though they were stronger; as if they could handle anything that came within their path with ease.
Tyler grew up in Maryville, MO with some of his most cherished friends and his family. Here, he spent time helping to grow and develop his parents’ businesses, perfecting skateboard tricks and making memories through love and laughter.
Tyler created many memories in Ringgold County, growing up on his Great Grandma and Grandpa Leeper’s Farm. Taking care of their property, hunting, fishing, looking after Floppy-Dog, attending many treasured cookouts, swinging around with his family on their two tire-swings and pulling his family around on Grandpa’s old tractor and trailer as they picked up sticks and branches along the property, all with a smile on each of their faces.
Tyler’s later years were spent in Cumberland, MD and then to West Virginia – not too far from his mother, Stephanie Sledge. Here, he found a love for his surroundings, fished in the valleys and built relationships with those that he admired greatly. He was always wanting to learn more about professional carpentry and had a mechanic passion for fixing his trucks.
Tyler was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Francis and May Leeper; grandparents, Lois Jean Petratis and John Shea; great aunt, MaryJane Hayward; aunt, Toni Meseck; uncle, Kevin Meseck; cousin, Jeremiah Meseck, and many more influential and loving relatives.
Tyler is survived by his parents, Stephanie Shea-Sledge, and adopted father, Randy Sledge; grandparents, Joyce and Charlie Russell; brothers, Matthew Crouse, Shealor Crouse and Jordan Jensen; sisters, Jasmin Sledge and Carissa Strabley; aunts, Kimberly (Bruce) Jensen and Heather (Jason) Feick; uncles, Doug Albaugh, Gary (Jenny) Albaugh and Matt Cornelison; cousins, Vannessa White, Tia (Shawn) Anders, Cody Meseck, Dylan Cornelison, Emma Cornelison, Gavin Cornelison, Allie Cornelison and Avett Feick; many more caring and treasured relatives.
